Thomas Schoenmaker Founder and Director

Thomas founded Wentworth and worked as a Senior Investment Adviser with Macquarie Bank for 6 years. Prior to this he spent 5 years as a Senior Adviser with Wilson HTM. He has also worked in London with Europe’s most prestigious Private Wealth Management division at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter (MSDW) and the Debt Capital Markets division of Merrill Lynch.
Malcolm Nutt Director

Malcolm worked as a Senior Investment Adviser with Macquarie Bank for 5 years. Prior to this he spent 10 years as a Private Client Adviser at Ord Minnett, of which 2 years was Associate Branch Manager of the Sydney Office. His core business is Wealth Management for Wholesale Clients however has a strong corporate opportunities focus due to his original years as an Investment Analyst at Crescent Capital. Malcolm has shown corporate leadership abilities and has used these skills to help coach the Sydney University Rugby 1st Grade team to Premiership in 2006.
Mark Rothlin Senior Advisor

Mark has over 12 years’ experience in the wealth management industry. Having most recently been an investment adviser with Macquarie Bank in their wealth management division. Mark was responsible for advising High Net Worth individuals on appropriate asset allocation strategies as well as specific strategies for maximising superannuation. Mark’s focus is to tailor investment strategies that meet a client’s objectives whilst understanding the importance of capital preservation for a client’s portfolio over the longer term. Prior to his 7 years at Macquarie Mark held various front office roles in advice for both Bell Potter and Ord Minnett.
Simon Tritton Senior Advisor

Simon has over 24 years experience in stockbroking and capital markets. Simon joined Wentworth after 20 years with Wilson HTM. Prior to this he spent three years with Capital Group in London. He has worked in operations, stock & options trading and private wealth management.
Angus Murnaghan Head of Institutional Sales

Angus has over 30 years of experience in the Australian equities markets. Angus worked for many years as a highly rated industrial analyst before moving into a variety of sales and equity capital markets roles. Wentworth Securities welcomes Angus after his eight years as Managing Director at Moelis & Company.
Angus has been responsible for the sales and distribution function for over 50 IPO’s ranging from A$50 million to over $1 billion.
Ian Gebbie Director

Ian specialises in Corporate Finance and has strong experience in advising clients on a variety of Capital Markets and M&A transactions, most recently with Grant Thornton in its Corporate Finance Division. Prior to this, Ian has worked in Corporate Finance positions at ‘Big 4’ accounting firms in Australia and the United Kingdom, Electra Partners (Private Equity) in London and BP in project finance and structuring.
Scott Griffin Principal and Head of Corporate Finance

Scott's core focus is corporate finance and capital market advisory services to public and private sector clients. He has extensive M&A and advisory experience and has been responsible for and lead of initial public offerings, as well as accounting, strategy, due diligence and independent expert reports for transaction assignments and clients in Australasia, Europe and the U.S. for over 12 years. Scott was previously with Grant Thornton for over 25 years and was their founding Corporate Finance partner in 1999, licensee of the AFSL and Head of its Corporate Finance business for more than 10 years.
